Engine / Driveline Modifications
| − | CAI : BF Intake Pipe w/3" Stainless Pipe | | Not sure whether this made much of a difference but it definitely has a very noticeable induction noise now. | | − | K & N High Flow Flat Panel Air Filter | | Only difference i have noticed with this mod is that it drinks more juice. | | − | NGK Iridium Spark Plugs | | Changed to these plugs when doing the first service on the car, they seem like a very good choice of plug, better than the crap that was in it before hand(they weren't even the right plugs). | | − | Rubber : Firehawk Wide Oval 235/45R17 | | Fantastic grip in the wet and dry, very quiet tyre, excellent ride. Also had the guys at Bob Jane put nitrogen in the tyres when i got them fitted. Very happy with them. | | − | XR6T Intake Snorkel | | This helped out the rest of the intake setup, havn't really driven the car hard since i put it on so im yet to see a difference. When doing this mod i also customized the front of the airbox with a nice cutout and used black fly screen material to do the inside of it.It looks good and has proven effective. | | − | 2.5" Custom Cat Back Exhaust w/twin 3" Chrome Tips | | Dynoed the car after the exhaust first went on and made 136rwkw with just a single muffler setup, then i had it changed as it was too loud to 2 mufflers and a resi and it gave the car a better note.Dynoed it again after the change and made 135rwkw and picked up torque that u could notice straight away(needed the back pressure). |

Interior Modifications
| − | Genuine Ford Car Mats | | − | Genuine Ford Dash Mat | | − | 75th Anniversary Badges | | Had to get 2 of these badges for the rear door trims as the front door trims had them, looks much better now. | | − | Tinted Windows | | Need to tint the windows a little darker i think. They look good at the moment though. |
Multimedia / Audio Modifications
| − | Head Unit : Eclipse CD3424 | | For temporary use while i wait for the alpine IVA-W502E. | | − | Front Stage : 6.5" splits | | Boston SL60 Splits. | | − | Rear Fill : 5x7's | | Boston SX85 2 Ways. | | − | Subs : 2 x 1500watt 12" | | Earthquake DBXi-12. | | − | Sub Amp : 1 x 2000watt Mono Block | | Earthquake T2000WD/1. | | − | Speaker Amp : 1 x 2000watt 4ch | | Earthquake T2000W/4. | | − | Screens : 9.2" Roof Mounted DVD Screen/Player | | good to watch the summernats DVD on.lol. | | − | Custom False Floor in Boot | | The false floor has been made from 18mm to the shape of the boot with access to the spare tyre and both amps are able to be seen under 2 lasercut pieces of acrylic. | | − | Custom Sub Box | | The sub box has been built with 18mm keeping in mind i need to retain some amount of boot space, the box allows just over 1.4cu.feet for each sub. | | − | Sound Deadener | | Stinger Extreme Roadkill. | | − | Wiring/Cabling | | - 3 x 2ch Stinger Pro RCA Leads - 15m x Stinger Pro 16g Speaker Cable - 8m x 4g DNA Power Cable - 2m x 4g DNA Earth Cable - 100amp DNA ANL Style Fuse - All cabling loomed and looks factory. | | − | Other | | A few other things i thought i'd mention that were done/used in the install. I custom made some 6mm MDF adapter plates for the front 6.5" woofers and also some 6mm spacers for the rear 5x7's.Also made up a 6mm MDF plate to cover the 8" hole in the rear parcel shelf. Deadening placed on both front doors and also the boot lid in an effort to stop vibrations and give it all a much cleaner sound. Also when building the sub box, making spacers etc i also undercoated everything before all carpeting/trimming was done so the moisture doesn't effect anything. | | − | Still To Come : | | − | A-Pillars | | Fiberglass the A-Pillars for the 1" tweeters and also 3 x 2" gauges. | | − | DVD Head Unit | | Alpine IVA-W502E 7" Touch Screen. | | − | Upgrade Fuse | | Want to change to a big hardcore 120 or 150amp fuse with a key so i can turn all the stereo gear off if the car needs things done. |
